To celebrate Arbor Day, Georgetown’s Parks and Recreation Department will gift 200 city residents either a Cedar Elm or Monterrey Oak tree to plant on private property.8:30-11:30 a.m. Free (preregistration is required). Sweet Eats Fruit Farm Fall Festival & Pumpkin Patch
Celebrate fall at the festival, complete with pony rides, a petting zoo, a hay maze, bounce house, face painting and an obstacle course. There will also be a large pumpkin patch, hay rides, live music, local food trucks and adult beverages for sale. 21st Annual Hill Country Arts & Crafts Fair
At this annual event, attendees can see the latest decorative trends and shop for jewelry, decor and gifts from Texas artists on both Saturday and Sunday. 9 a.m.-5 p.m. (Saturday), 11 a.m.-4 p.m. (Sunday). Free. Sun City Texas Community Association, 2 Texas Dr., Georgetown.

Field of Honor
More than 1,500 U.S. flags will be displayed in San Gabriel Park to pay tribute to veterans, military service members and first responders during the week of Veterans Day. Flags to be used for the display can be purchased online for $40. The display is presented by the Rotary Club of Georgetown. 2 p.m. (opening ceremony). Event continues daily until Nov 12. Free.
