- Autumn Walking Tours begin at the Museum of the American Railroad
Guided walk tours of the museum continue this fall. Site tours are entirely outdoors and involve walking and some climbing. Tours last approximately 45 minutes and will be available each Thursday and Friday at 1 p.m. and Saturdays at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. through December 30.
Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 3-12. Guests should meet at the Frisco Heritage Museum, but the tour will take place at the Museum of the American Railroad, 6455 Page St., Frisco.

- Spend an evening with Sinatra and Friends
Odysseus North Texas Chamber Orchestra presents musical performances featuring hits by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Junior. The orchestra, joined by entertainment singer Teddy Davey, will also showcase original arrangements of the jazzy big-band sound.
Online tickets are $18 for adults and $13 for seniors. At the door, tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for seniors. 8 p.m. Grace Church, 8440 Grace St., Frisco.

- Frisco Book Fest returns for the second year
The Frisco Public Library is hosting the annual Frisco Book Fest, in which readers can meet local authors and illustrators.
Free. 1-5 p.m. Event will be held on the first floor, atrium and council chamber and on the fourth floor at McCallum Room, 6101 Frisco Square Blvd., Frisco.

- A Night of Improv
Laugh the night away with the Frisco Improv Players. The improvisational comedy troupe specializes in family-friendly, game-based comedic performances.
The cost is $12 and the show begins at 8 p.m. at the Black Box Theatre, 8004 N. Dallas Parkway.

- Chunk Your Junk
The city of Frisco is hosting its quarterly Chunk Your Junk this weekend. This event is for Frisco residents only, and participants need to bring a driver’s license and city water bill with matching address to drop off all items. Items that can be dropped off include prescription medication, bundled cardboard, refrigerators, household hazardous waste and electronics.
Free. The event is from 8 a.m.-noon but because of time constraints, residents must be in line by 11:30 a.m. to receive service. Environmental Collection Center, 6616 Walnut St., Frisco.
