More than 450 vendors at Third Monday Trade Days
Attendees will find more than 450 vendors offering home décor, clothing, accessories, sporting goods, antiques, food and more. Trade Days, located at 4550 W. University Drive, McKinney, runs Friday through Sunday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. There is no entry fee, but there is a $5 parking fee Saturday and Sunday between 7 a.m.-3 p.m. More information, including a parking map and vendor details, can we found on the event’s website.

MedSpring Urgent Care offers free flu shots
MedSpring Urgent Care, which opened Aug. 21 at 5131 S. Custer Road, Ste. 111, McKinney, is offering free flu shots all weekend from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. The free flu shots will be available from Sept. 16-23. No appointments are necessary, and anyone over 12 months old can get a flu shot. More information can be found online at MedSpring’s website.

Learn about Latin countries at Hispanic Heritage Festival
Attendees at the 2017 Hispanic Heritage Festival will spend the day participating in a variety of activities and contests, including a coloring contest. The free event also offers music, food, Mariachis, games and health education. The McKinney Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and city of McKinney will host this event from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the John and Judy Gay Library, 6861 Eldorado Parkway. Enjoy family-fun at ‘Rodeo on the River’
This free event includes games, live music, food trucks, mini ponies, armadillo races, face painting, trick roping and a photo booth. A portion of the proceeds from food and drink sales will benefit ManeGait. “Rodeo on the River” will be held at Trinity Falls, 7801 Trinity Falls Parkway, from 3-7 p.m. More information can be found on Trinity Falls’ website.
