2017 Artrageous exhibit
This annual exhibit put on by the Visual Arts Guild of Frisco showcases the work of local artists. Artwork includes painting, photography, mixed media and sculpture. Artworks will be displayed at the Frisco Art Gallery. Free. 9 a.m.-8 p.m. (Fri.), 10 a.m.-8 p.m. (Sat.) and noon-6 p.m. (Sun.). Frisco Discovery Center, 8004 Dallas Parkway, Frisco.

4th of July Celebration Summer Skate
As part of Dr Pepper StarCenter’s Sizzling Summer Public Skating, the center will host a celebration for Independence Day. Participants are encouraged to wear red, white and blue. Music in the Square
This annual music festival will continue today at 7:30 p.m. with a performance by Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Bluegrass Band. The free outdoor musical performances will continue each Friday in Frisco Square at Simpson Plaza, 6101 Frisco Square Blvd.

Parkapalooza–Music and Movie in the Park
Performances will be given by Rock and Bach Music and the Performing Arts School at the city of Frisco’s annual Parkapalooza event at Warren Sports Complex. Residents are invited to bring their lawn chairs and blankets to the event. The animated movie "SING" will start playing at sunset. There will be a concession stand and food trucks. Bounce houses and other entertainment will be open until the movie starts. Free. 7-11 p.m. Warren Sports Complex, 7599 Eldorado Parkway, Frisco.
