The original Cedar Park JuiceLand has high quality standards and a high-energy atmosphere, manager Kiara Crawford said, and the company expanded that mantra into a second Cedar Park location in April.

Owner Matt Shook started JuiceLand in Austin in 2011, and it now has 22 locations throughout the Austin area and in Brooklyn, New York, Dallas and Houston. At the end of April another Cedar Park store opened in the new 365 by Whole Foods Market off Toll 183A in The Parke shopping center.

The company offers items such as juices, smoothies, wraps, noodle bowls, quinoa dishes and salads.

“We don’t use any artificial sweeteners or fillers, and I feel like that’s the most important thing,” Crawford said. “We are giving you a raw product that is exactly as on the menu.”

Customers of the original Cedar Park location, which is located on RM 620 and has an Austin address, range from doctors, nurses and police officers to teenagers who visit after school. Crawford said the shop has a community feel.

“If a regular customer has a usual drink—especially if they create their own—we like to save that order with their name on it,” she said. “They can call and say the name of their creation, and we know what they want.”

Crawford has worked for JuiceLand for almost four years. She oversees 11 employees at the original Cedar Park location and trained several employees in the new JuiceLand.

“The values of JuiceLand and Whole Foods 365 align perfectly,” JuiceLand Marketing Specialist Lexie Shook said. “We are thrilled to be able to offer our drinks at an affordable grocery that is also focused on providing organic and sustainable options.”

She said the company has experienced success because it is “a fountain of freshness in a world of fast food.”

The original Cedar Park location hosts charity events every month to support local organizations, such as Urban Roots, an urban farm organization for youths, that reaches out to children.

“Our main focus is to be a positive addition to each neighborhood we expand in,” she said. “We actively contribute to locally based efforts to build up a healthy, sustainable and creative community.”
