MakerSpace First Friday On the first Friday of every month, the Sci-Tech Discovery Center invites veterans to the Makerspace studio to learn, create, build and make. Children 11 years old or older are also welcome. Guests will be able to work on their own projects, and there will be instructional programs on woodworking and clock making. 6 p.m. (first session), 7 p.m. (second session). Theatre Frisco presents “Evita” The next production for Theatre Frisco is a play about the life of Argentina’s political leader Eva Perón, the second wife of President Juan Perón. Crosswalk Kids’ Summer Kickoff This annual summer kickoff festival will include various family-friendly activities for the family as they kick off the summer. Activities will include face painting, a magic show, bounce houses, games, prizes, food and more. There will also be the opportunity to win a grand prize and other giveaways. This event supports Frisco Family Services. 5-8 p.m. Event is free, but attendees must download a free ticket and bring a nonperishable food item.
