The Ford Center is a 12,000-seat multipurpose stadium that opened in 2016. The surrounding development, called The Star in Frisco, includes the Dallas Cowboys world headquarters, restaurants, retail and an Omni Hotel, which is expected to open this summer. The Ford Center is the result of a public-private partnership among the Dallas Cowboys, the city of Frisco and Frisco ISD.

Who plays at The Ford Center? The stadium serves as the practice facility for the Dallas Cowboys. Frisco ISD high school teams hold football games at the facility, and other FISD events, such as band competitions, can also be hosted. The stadium is also available for use for outside organizations, such as Texas Tech University’s annual spring football game held in April.

Dr Pepper Ballpark is a 10,000-seat outdoor stadium that opened in 2003. In 2015 and 2016, the stadium underwent renovations, which included the addition of a HD video board, a new sound system and a new open-air sports bar. In 2016, the stadium underwent even more renovations, highlighted by the construction of a lazy river behind the right field wall. Dr Pepper Ballpark is available to be rented out for meetings or special events.

The team logo features “Swingin’ Teddy Roosevelt”—a nod to the history behind the team name. The Rough Riders, which included former president Roosevelt, was a volunteer group of cavalry soldiers in the Spanish-American War of 1898 that made major contributions to key battles in Cuba.

Dr Pepper Arena is a multipurpose sports and entertainment venue that seats up to 6,000 people. In addition to serving as a hockey rink and basketball court, Dr Pepper Arena hosts concerts, family shows, graduation ceremonies, corporate events and other live entertainment. The ice rink is open for public use during specific times throughout the week. The facility also hosts the corporate offices of the Dallas Stars NHL team.

Toyota Stadium is an outdoor sports and entertainment venue. Renovations to the stadium have been underway since May 2016, which include a new sound system, new locker rooms, premium seating, a private club, a media center and a team story. In addition, in 2018 the stadium will become the home of the National Soccer Hall of Fame. The stadium is known for hosting popular events and concerts, including EdgeFest, Off the Rails Country Music Festival and Jimmy Buffett’s annual concert tour.
