Incumbents Chris Coy and Duff O'Dell were re-elected.[/caption]
In the May 6 election, both incumbents for Grapevine City Council—Chris Coy and Duff O'Dell—won their races.
Coy ran against Debi Meek for Place 5. Coy received 59.83 percent or 1,461 votes, and Meek gathered 40.17 percent or 981 votes.
O'Dell ran against Cory Huddleston for Place 6. O'Dell received 70.45 percent or 1,724 votes and Huddleston gathered 29.55 percent or 723 votes.
"It's very gratifying," O'Dell said. "It's a job I love. It's one of the honors of my life—to get to work for these residents and with this council. [The council and I] have accomplished a lot over the past three years and it's extremely gratifying that I get to continue doing this."
