Pflugerville ISD's newly constructed 10,000-seat stadium will be dedicated on May 23 at 6 p.m. The stadium, which was one of the district's projects from its $287 million 2014 bond,  includes the following features:
  • artificial turf field;
  • 10,000 spectator seats;
  • press box with multiple private boxes, media platforms;
  • school store;
  • athletic department offices;
  • three concession stands with picnic-style seating;
  • ticket sales;
  • on-site parking; and,
  • a 7,000-square-foot field house with home and visitor locker rooms, coaching and athletic offices and training rooms.
The stadium will be used for football, soccer, band and other related events. High school track and field events will continue taking place on individual campuses. The stadium was named, "The Pfield," in April 2016 by the PfISD board of trustees. Gates at The Pfield will open at 6 p.m., and the dedication ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m. "This event is for the entire PfISD community," PfISD board President Vernagene Mott said. "Not only will The Pfield be a showcase venue for PfISD athletics and performing arts, but it will also serve as a centerpiece of the community in so many ways."
