Editor's note: This story has been updated with corrected information. Patients at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Centennial were evacuated Wednesday night after a water leak caused electrical issues at the hospital. Most of the hospital's 27 patients have been transported to other area hospitals. The emergency room is not accepting ambulance traffic, but Frisco firefighters are on site to assist with walk up/drive up emergencies, according to a city news release. Two ambulance busses are also on site. The leak has been located in a damaged pipe. The hospital began transporting critical patients first after the leak was reported at about 7:50 p.m. Firefighters found the water leaking from the third floor to the floors below and shut off the water to the entire building. The city's original news release said the water leak had cause power outages, but the hospital has since released a statement saying the power never went out. "Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Centennial continues repair on a water line in the facility that was damaged Wednesday night, impacting three patient floors. The facility never lost power, and a majority of the 27 patients who were in the affected areas of the building were transferred to other nearby Baylor Scott & White facilities.
