The Learning Experience

The early education center’s camp will kick off summer with activities focused on science, technology, engineering and math and special visitors every week. The award-winning program includes splash days, all meals, a summer camp survival kit and a camp T-shirt.

Lego Robotics and Engineering Camp

Children can learn about engineering and robotics concepts using the Lego WeDo, the Lego Mindstorms NXT and the Lego EV3 Robotics systems. All supplies are included.

Abrakadoodle Art Camp

Arts Avenue for Kids

Arts Avenue for Kids holds full- and half-day theater camps with themes including “Wicked,” “Star Wars,” and “Beauty and the Beast.” Each camp includes theater games, face painting, and a performance. The business is also offering dance punch cards, which are good for either four or seven class sessions. Each week will have a different style or theme of dance.

Georgetown Art Center

Camp sessions will allow students to explore various media, art processes and approaches. Each week of camps will feature a different theme, such as comic book art, “Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them,” “Moana’s Hawaiian Art” and a Pokemon-inspired camp. Camps are divided by age group, and materials are included. Extended care is available.

The Palace Theatre

The Palace Theatre

The theater will host five two-week summer workshop sessions for ages 7-12 and three three- or four-week workshops for age 13 and up. Session features a different production and focuses on a different theme, including musical theater, acting and comedy, and each session ends with a performance. Pinot’s Palette

A Premium Blend Studios

The studio offers a variety of half-day weeklong summer camps, including “A Taste of Premium Blends” sessions, in which children can learn music, acting, singing and dance; a selection of dance techniques; or musical instruments. Other camps include musical theater, youth orchestra, and  filmmaking, The school will also offer a half-day violin camp. Campers may participate in separate morning and afternoon sessions for a full-day camp.

Tal Lostracco’s Summer Theatre Camp

High school thespians spend two weeks with instructors to strengthen acting and technical skills at this overnight camp. Only 75 students are accepted into the program.

Circle of Friends

Circle of Friends camp aims to help older children with cognitive and developmental disabilities who are seeking an opportunity to retain communication and social skills . This camp is designed to encourage campers to develop their imagination and individual ability while enhancing self-esteem. Activities include music, drama, arts and crafts, gardening, daily exercise, cooking and movies. Campers will also participate in community-based outings, such as recycling, grocery shopping and weekly field trips.

Kid City Camp

Georgetown ISD students who qualify for the free or reduced-cost lunch program may take part in a week of half-day summer enrichment programs. Children receive breakfast and lunch during the camp. Activities include games, arts and crafts, field trips and swimming.

Let’s Make Friends

The camp focuses on building social and communication skills, self-advocacy, team building, and facilitating social and emotional development of children with autism spectrum and other cognitive and developmental disabilities. Participants take part in arts and crafts, swimming, field trips and other activities to build skills for successful relationships.

Adventure Summer Camp

Campers will participate in adventures throughout  the surrounding Hill Country. Activities include four to five field trips per week, a Ninja Zone Class and two gym classes per week as well as weekly swimming. Snacks are provided, but campers must pack a sack lunch except for Fridays when pizza is provided.

Basketball Skills Camp

Participants can learn ball handling, shooting, footwork, defense techniques and other related skills. The camp is led by ATX Future coaches, and each week offers coaching on a different skill set.
