1. March 11: Hip Hop Run
The Hip Hop Run features hip hop artists and music at this family-friendly event. During the 10K or 5K run or walk, participants can enjoy listening to DJ’s throughout the course playing popular hip hop music. Performances will also be given by Houston’s top local artists and an after party will be held following the run. 7 a.m.-1 p.m. $65 (10K and after-party admission), free (10K admission for ages 12 and under), $55 (5K and after-party admission), free (5K admission for ages 12 and under). 2. March 11: The Fitness Marshall-Live in Houston
The Fitness Marshall is a YouTube cardio hip-hop master who will hold a live, 60-minute class this Saturday in Houston. No experience is needed and participants must be age 12 and older. 7-8 p.m. $30. Stereo Live Houston, 6400 Richmond Ave., Houston.

The annual margarita-centered festival features more than 20 different flavors of the popular drink on the rocks or frozen, made with 100 percent agave tequilas. General admission includes six drink tickets and enables participants to sample and vote in the Best Margarita Competition.
