The Woodlands Marathon
March 3-4

The Woodlands Marathon is a qualifier for The Boston Marathon. Runners will participate in the full or half marathon Saturday morning, and welcome events will take place throughout the day Friday. Registration and packet pick-up is from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday. The Pathfinder Pediatric Homecare 2K Fun Run will take place in Town Green Park at 6:30 p.m. Friday. A course overview with the race director will be open to participants at 11:30 a.m. Friday. The Finish Strong Finish Festival will be ongoing during the marathon from 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Saturday. Waterway Nights at Waterway Square

Waterway Nights is a weekly event in The Woodlands during the spring and summer months. This weekend, country act Troy Hess and the Texas Heartbreakers will perform at the amphitheater in Waterway Square. Visitors and residents can bring their own chairs or sit in the grass to enjoy the show. 6-8 p.m. Free. Vocal showcases at Dosey Doe
