1. Sweet Lemon Kitchen

The cafe offers homemade dessert options, including coconut cream pie bars, lemon bars and Lemon Thumbprint cookies, which won second place in the sweet category at the 2016 Red Poppy Taste Awards in April.

2. Cake Slice

The bakery celebrated its first anniversary in December and specializes in custom-order cakes. A variety of individual treats, such as cupcakes, bars, cookies, scones and cake slices, are also available and change daily.

3. Galaxy Bakery and Coffee House

The family-owned and -operated bakery offers over 40 cupcake flavors that rotate every two weeks, including carrot cake and chocolate. The shop also offers custom-order cakes as well as cannolis, cheesecake and croissants.

4. The Monument market & Cafe

Its cookies, pies and cakes are made in-house with all-natural ingredients and include flavors such as its signature Monument Chocolate Pie. Dine in at the cafe or purchase desserts to go at the market.

5. Sweet Serendipity

Located on the Square, the shop offers gourmet candy, including truffles, cake balls and toffee in an assortment of flavors. The candy shop also offers fresh-baked cakes and gift baskets.

6. Hula Cowgirl

The shaved-ice dessert shop offers traditional Hawaiian-style shaved ice combinations. Customers can select from menu items or create their own from over 80 flavors. Ice cream, coffee drinks and other desserts are also available.
