The stand-alone traffic signal project proposed for the intersection of RR 620 at Steiner Ranch Boulevard is scheduled to go out to bid in June, Texas Department of Transportation spokesperson Kelli Reyna said. The TxDOT project is estimated to cost $190,000. Steiner Ranch is located in the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the city of Austin, an area that is not provided with city services and whose residents are not required to pay city taxes. A community-wide forum is being held this evening, Wednesday, Jan. 25, at 7 p.m. at Canyon Ridge Middle School, 12601 Country Trails Lane, Austin, to discuss proposed roadway changes in the Four Points area.
