As the Dallas North Tollway widening project continues, additional daily and overnight lane closures are expected for the coming week. Drivers can expect daily lane closures on two north- and southbound left lanes of the DNT from Parker Road to SH 121 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. These lane closures will be in effect from Jan. 25-Feb. 1. Overnight lane closures include two northbound-left lane closures from Chapel Hill Boulevard to Parker Road, which are expected close from 10 p.m. Jan. 25 through 5 a.m. Jan. 26. The following evening, two southbound-left lane closures will take place from Parker Road to Chapel Hill Boulevard. The southbound lane closures will take place from 10 p.m. Jan. 26 until 5 a.m. Jan. 27. Construction work along the DNT includes adding an additional travel lane in each direction of the tollway from SH 121 to the President George Bush Turnpike, according to a release from the North Texas Tollway Authority.
