Mississippi-based
Newk’s Eatery will be the first retail tenant at
Hall Park’s Park Plaza, the office park’s new 15,000-square-foot retail plaza.
Newk’s Eatery will occupy the 4,5000-square-foot anchor space at the plaza and is slated to open this spring. This will be the franchise’s first location in Frisco.
“Park Plaza will be a daily destination for park employees, and we look forward to filling it with more exciting restaurant concepts with Newk’s as its anchor,” said Kim Butler, director of leasing at
Hall Group, in a statement.
Newk’s opened it’s first North Texas location in Plano in 2013. The eatery offers healthy, fast-casual menu items such as quinoa salad, spicy Sicilian pizza, Cuban sandwich and a kale Caesar salad.
“Newk’s Eatery is excited to be joining Hall Park, which we consider one of the crown jewels of the Dallas office market,” said Andrea Cheek, operating partner at Newk’s Eatery. “We can’t wait for Frisco to experience Newk’s fresh and gourmet options for lunch, dinner and catering this spring.”
The Park Plaza is part of the park-wide upgrade to the 2.5 million-square-foot office park. Other amenities include a 10,000-square-foot fitness facility, conference center, walking trails, wine lounge and a 200-piece art collection.
Also under construction is
Hall Park’s 17th building, which broke ground in September 2016. The new building will contain 300,000 square feet and 12 stories, Frisco’s tallest office building to-date. Construction is expected to be complete in December.
