ALDI will be located near the intersection of Hufsmith and Kuykendahl roads in Tomball.[/caption]German-based grocer ALDI will open a Tomball location in March near Hufsmith and Kuykendahl roads. ALDI representatives said a grand opening is scheduled for March 16. Construction of the building should be finished by late January, construction representatives said.
The store offers ALDI exclusive brands of meat, produce, bakery items, snacks canned goods, paper products, and other items as well as some national brands. The grocery chain provides a cost-effective approach to grocery shopping with limited staff and shelf space.
The Kuykendahl Road-area location will be the store's first location in Tomball. ALDI has existing locations at 6912 FM 2920, Spring; 2902 FM 2920, Spring; and 9870 Louetta Road, Houston.
