Annunciation Maternity Home offers assistance to teenagers and women experiencing crisis pregnancy. Volunteer opportunities include mentoring and life skills training for mothers, working at the day care center, providing transportation and administrative support, and helping with special events.

Assistance League of Georgetown Area is a philanthropic, nonprofit volunteer organization with the mission to help those in need within the community through services such as buying clothes for children, hosting monthly birthday parties at an Alzheimer’s disease unit, assisting with tutoring programs and operating The Assistance League Thrift Shop. The nonprofit awards scholarships to Georgetown High School seniors, and it just started the Assist a Teacher Program to help set up new teachers’ classrooms. Boys & Girls Club of Georgetown offers programs and activities to help children build character, achieve academic success and maintain healthy lifestyles. The Georgetown Project coordinates community resources with the intent of building a healthier environment for children and youth. Volunteers assist in fundraising and youth programs. GMAT, or Georgetown Medical Assist Team, is a nonprofit first-responder organization that is registered with the Texas Department of State Health Services. GMAT serves as a 911 response agency for Williamson County, primarily serving the rural areas outside of Georgetown as well as providing standby services for community events. A monthly meeting is held on the first Thursday of each month; details may be found on the website. GMAT also teaches American Heart Association-certified first aid, CPR and AED classes.

Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County teams build quality houses for local low-income families. Volunteers assist in construction, office administration and customer service, and they also handle donations and provide customer service at the ReStores thrift stores for building materials.

Ride On Center for Kids (R.O.C.K.) is a nonprofit provider of therapeutic horseback riding and hippotherapy for children and adults with cognitive and physical challenges. Salvation Army volunteers assist in many ways—with holiday events, acting as bell ringers, serving meals at shelters and distributing gifts at the Christmas warehouse as part of the Angel Tree program.
