Located 25 miles west of downtown Austin, the city of Lakeway is situated on the south shore of Lake Travis in the Texas Hill Country. Although lot sales began in 1963 after the opening of the Lakeway Inn and Marina, now families are drawn to the city’s award-winning parks and recreation programs, lake activities, Lake Travis ISD schools and the region’s  close proximity to Austin.
