Lane closures are happening along I-69 starting tomorrow as entrance ramps are improved, according to the latest update from the Texas Department of Transportation. Here are the three main closures to look out for Friday through Nov. 18.

Nov. 4-5

A northbound lane will be closed at the FM 762 entrance ramp from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Friday. It will close again at 9 p.m. until work is finished Saturday afternoon. The closure allows crews to make improvements along the northbound entrance ramp.

Nov. 4-18

The FM 762 southbound entrance ramp will be shut down from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. each weekday and Saturdays through Nov. 18. Traffic will be detoured from the southbound frontage road to Williams Way Boulevard while crews place beams along the frontage road.

Nov. 5-12 (weekends only)

There will be a total closure in both directions from 6 a.m.-4 p.m. at the intersection of I-69 and FM 2218. The closure will only take place on weekends, and police officers will direct traffic at the intersection.
