Select roads in The Woodlands will be closed to traffic Saturday morning due to the Memorial Hermann 10 for Texas 10-mile road race.

The following lane closures will occur between 6-10:30 a.m. in The Woodlands:

  • The outside lane of Six Pines Drive will be closed southbound from Lake Woodlands Drive to Timberloch Place

  • The outside lane of Riva Row will be closed westbound from High Timbers to Grogans Mill Road

  • The inside lane of Grogans Mill Road will be closed northbound from Riva Row to Lake Woodlands Drive

  • The inside lane of Lake Woodlands Drive will be closed westbound from Grogans Mill Road to Cochrans Crossing Drive

  • The inside lane of Lake Woodlands Drive will be closed eastbound from Cochrans Crossing to Six Pines Drive


The 10-mile race will be capped and will start and finish at Market Street. Township officials encourage residents to avoid delays and use alternate routes around the race. There will be law enforcement officers at every intersection along the race route, allowing cars through when there is a safe opportunity.
