Legacy Hall creators Jack Gibbons and Randy DeWitt of Front Burner Restaurants opened
Sixty Wines wine bar Aug. 31 at 3701 Dallas Parkway.
Located in the former Abuelo's restaurant, Sixty Vines began serving lunch this week and boasts 60 taps with dozens of varietals on tap as well as an extensive beer menu.

Front Burner Restaurants' Plano resume also includes Whiskey Cake and Mexican Sugar, which opened in 2010 and 2013, respectively.
With shared plates and dishes, such as the blossom squash pizza and herb-roasted half chicken with asparagus, Gibbons said Sixty Vines' menu was inspired by the culinary scene of Napa and Sonoma valleys. The restaurant also includes spacious enclosed patio seating, and its staff is expected to start an herb garden similar to the one that is grown at neighboring Whiskey Cake.
