GEORGETOWN The Georgetown Main Street Program is creating a pop-up musical performance program throughout downtown this summer and is looking for middle- and high school performers with vocal or instrumental talents.
The pilot program would feature individual or group unplugged performances on Sundays in June and July, according to a city news release.
The 30-minute performances would run between 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. at Founders Park, located at Church and Ninth streets, and in front of Red Poppy Coffee Co., located at the Georgetown Public Library at 402 W. Eighth St., according to the release.
The pilot is sponsored by the Main Street Program and the Georgetown ISD Fine Arts Department.
