The event, which is free, will feature more than 120 local and regional artists selling their handmade creations. Artists ranging from potters to painters to photographers will sell their pieces to visitors. The festival includes live music, arts and crafts and other performances.

"Arts in the Square provides the community with a high-quality cultural event," said Mark Flynt, president of Frisco Square Property Owners Association. "This family-friendly festival brings a great Fine Arts experience to the Frisco community."

Flynt said the the festival has grown to more than 25,000 in attendance. He said the collaboration with Frisco Square and Frisco ISD to bring the event to the community every year is also important and makes it possible to give back to organizations.

"This collaboration gives an excellent opportunity to promote the [artistic] talents of the Frisco ISD students in a widely recognized art festival," Flynt said.
