Republican primary election voting totals for Collin County Constable Precinct 1 have been released and show incumbent Shane Williams maintains his seat with 5,215  votes, or 53.32 percent of the vote. Mike 'Mookey' Vance followed closely with 4,565  votes or 46.68 percent of the votes.

Republican primary election early voting numbers for Collin County Constable Precinct 1 have been released and show incumbent Shane Williams  leading the way with 2,849 votes, or 52.98 percent of the vote. Mike 'Mookey' Vance follows closely with 2,528 votes or 47.02 percent of the votes.

Shane Williams received his basic law enforcement training from the Texoma Regional Police Academy. He is a member of the Texas Justice of the Peace and Constables Association, Texas Association of Counties and the First Baptist Church of Anna.

Mike 'Mookey' Vance has 30 years of law enforcement experience. He is a member of the Collin County Republican Mens Club, The Collin County Conservative Republicans, The National Rifle Association, McKinney Tea Party, Sheriff's Association of Texas and attends St. Michael the Archangel Church in McKinney.
