Perks Beanery in Pinehurst is known for its coffee concoctions using quality ingredients. To create handmade coffee milkshakes, Perks employees blend milk, cold-brew coffee and a generous helping of Blue Bell Creameries’ Homemade Vanilla ice cream, co-owner Tricia Potter said. 

“We thought about going the cheaper route and using another brand to knock the cost down,” Potter said. “But the Blue Bell makes a huge difference, and we don’t want to make anything here if it won’t taste awesome.”
