Montebello, developed by Taylor Morrison and located at RR 620 and Viscaya Way in Austin, opened its presales Dec. 11, said Kristin France, marketing manager for Taylor Morrison’s Austin division. The company is conducting the Montebello presales from its nearby Lakeview at Steiner Ranch development office, 12103 Crest Top Bend, Austin, she said.
The community is zoned to Leander ISD’s Grandview Elementary School, Four Points Middle School and Vandegrift High School, which is located 4.5 miles away, France said. A traffic light is not in the plans for the neighborhood’s entrance on RR 620, she said.
The 143-homesite project is set on 49 acres and broke ground in early 2015, France said. Prices for the homes begin at $382,000, she said. Home sizes range from 1,871 to 2,101 square feet for one-story homes and 2,470 to 2,694 square feet for two-story homes, she said.
“Montebello is designed for comfort, quality and style with gorgeous views of the Balcones Canyonlands Preserve and access to highly-acclaimed schools in the Leander ISD, all within an intimate, gated community conveniently located off RR 620,” said Michael Lindeman, vice president of sales and marketing for Taylor Morrison’s Austin division.
The Balcones Canyonlands Preserve is a federally protected area for endangered species.
Although most Taylor Morrison communities include an amenity center, Montebello will not have an amenity center or a pool, France said. However, the neighborhood will be gated, she said.
The community will open to the public once the model homes at Montebello are finished in late spring 2016, France said.
