SH 26 Phase 1

All main lane paving on SH 26 as well as the Pool Road/Brumlow Avenue intersection is scheduled to be complete by mid-July. There will continue to be intermittent traffic delays because of lane closures during July while landscaping work is being done in the parkway and medians. Phase 1 of the project runs west from Pool/Brumlow to John McCain Road in Colleyville. The purpose of the project is to reconstruct the road to keep up with future traffic demands. Phase 2 of the project, from John McCain to Brown Trail, is expected to begin next year.

FM 2499 lane and bridge work

Although flooding from Lake Grapevine delayed construction by NorthGate Constructors for several days in June, the project is still expected to be complete in January. As of July, crews are working on the north portion of the Grapevine Mills Boulevard bridge. When complete Grapevine Mills Boulevard will have eight lanes and a Texas U-turn on the north side. Crews are also performing drainage, grading and wall work on the new, lowered FM 2499 main lanes throughout the project. The new main lanes will run underneath overpasses at Stars and Stripes Way and Grapevine Mills Boulevard in Grapevine.

South White Chapel Boulevard

Crews continue to work on resurfacing South White Chapel Boulevard in Southlake from the roundabout at Continental Boulevard to Big Bear Creek Bridge. Project construction hours are 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday. During those hours the road will be reduced to one lane of traffic.

SH 121/SH 360 ramps

Crews continue to construct two new bridges near William D. Tate Avenue: a bridge over the exit ramp to Hall Johnson Road and a bridge over Stone Myers Parkway. Crews have also graded and paved a portion of the new ramp to southbound SH 360. When construction is complete, there will be two new ramps connecting southbound William D. Tate to SH 121 and SH 360. These ramps will provide drivers better access to SH 121/SH 360 and allow them to bypass the Stone Myers Parkway intersection.
