The summer months have arrived, and entertainment in Frisco is in no short supply.

For the more active residents, places such as Strikz Entertainment or the Frisco Outdoor Aquatic Center are some of the options to get you moving.

If you are looking for more laid-back activities, places such as the Frisco Heritage Museum and Sip-n-Doodle offer more leisurely activities.

Frisco Outdoor Aquatic Center

Located within the Frisco Athletics Center, the Frisco Outdoor Aquatic Center includes both indoor and outdoor features open to all ages. The new expansion of the outdoor section includes new slides, a children’s play structure and an expanded lazy river. Membership prices are available online.

A free alternative to a water park is visiting one of Frisco’s spray parks. Frisco has three spray parks. Parks are open from sun up to sun down.

Dr Pepper Arena offers public ice skating sessions at various times throughout the week. Skate rentals and group rates are available. Go online for annual pass and private party prices.

iFly Dallas

iFly allows visitors to experience skydiving without parachuting or jumping out of a plane. Flyers step into a wind tunnel that will emulate the experience of skydiving. People of all experience levels can fly, and instructors are available for first-time flyers.

Pole Position Raceway

Pole Position Raceway offers indoor go-kart racing for children and adults. Each race lasts about 10 minutes, and drivers can be separated into groups. The raceway hosts public events such as racing camps and driving clinics. Membership prices are available online.

Strikz Entertainment

Strikz Entertainment caters to both children and adults through bowling, arcade games, laser tag and billiards. Strikz also features private/semi-private bowling lanes, food and beverages. The venue can host birthday parties and other events.

Urban Air Trampoline Park

Visitors to Urban Air Trampoline Park can jump for fitness or fun. Activities include trampoline dodgeball, trampoline basketball and a foam pit. Fitness classes and private party reservations are also available.

Frisco Heritage Museum

Explore Frisco’s history at the Frisco Heritage Museum. The museum includes a village of Frisco’s early buildings, local artifacts and a gift shop. The Heritage Center offers free tours of historic buildings during Third Sunday Open House events.

Museum of the American Railroad

Educational tours at the Museum of the American Railroad show visitors the history and impact of the railroad industry. The actual museum is still under construction, but interim exhibits and offices are located at the Frisco Heritage Museum.

Play Street Museum

This interactive museum allows children to explore a town square and other exhibits in an educational environment. Admission includes a wooden dollar that can be used to buy a snack. The museum is designed for children ages 1-8.

Choose from more than 500 images to paint at an artist-led class at Sip-n-Doodle. Each class lasts two hours, and participants will leave with a finished painting. Reservations can be made online. The art studio also hosts private parties.
