Lost Creek’s residents eye Marshall Tract developmentFollowing developer Cousins Properties withdrawal from a 2014 proposal to create office buildings on Lost Creek’s Marshall tract—a 36-acre parcel bordered by Lost Creek Boulevard, Quaker Ridge Drive and Capital of Texas Highway in the Westlake area—property owner Dan Marshall stepped forward to develop a new plan. Marshall presented his proposal for Point West at Marshall Ranch to Lost Creek residents April 29. His plan includes two three-story office buildings with about 300,000 to 350,000 square feet total at a maximum height of 40 feet. One parking lot and a 20-acre wildlife preserve are also anticipated, Marshall’s representative Paul Schumann said. The land is zoned for single-family use and would need to be rezoned to develop Marshall’s plan.
