Four new schools broke ground between April 22 and May 26. Junior High No. 15 and High School No. 8 had groundbreaking celebrations in Ventana Lakes on April 22. Celebrations for Elementary No. 38 in Cinco Ranch Northwest and Elementary No. 39 in Ventana Lakes were held May 20 and 26, respectively. The schools join Junior High School No. 14 in Hawk’s Landing as the first new schools built using 2014 bond funds.
