Glade road[/caption]The resolution to limit future construction on Glade Road from Heritage Road to River Bend Drive failed in the May 9 election by a vote of 2,908 to 2,320, meaning the city can resume work on the Glade Road project.
Work on the project details stopped in October after a petition to limit future construction was submitted to the city and placed on the ballot.
According to Mona Gandy, communications director for Colleyville, the council still needs to approve the preliminary design so a complete design can be presented to the public. The final design must also be approved by the council in public meetings before work can begin.
