The event brought an estimated 55,000 guests to the Square, said Cari Miller, the city’s Convention and Visitors Bureau manager. Along with arts and crafts vendor booths, food vendors and a children’s area, the festival also featured a parade, live music and a car show. The event also celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Texas Legislature naming Georgetown the Red Poppy Capital of Texas.
