Construction work on the southbound to northbound turnaround bridge at Leander Road and I-35 will reduce traffic on the I-35 main lanes from three lanes to one lane from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on April 19.

According to a news release, Williamson County's contractor Hunter Industries is scheduled to close two lanes in each direction to complete work on the bridge.

Northbound lanes will be closed from north of Westinghouse Road to south of Hwy. 29. Southbound lanes will be closed from just south of Williams Drive to SE Inner Loop, according to the release.

Along with the main lanes, entrance ramps between Leander Road and Hwy. 29 will also be closed, and southbound frontage road traffic will continue south through the Leander Road intersection to enter the highway, according to the release.
