The city's Zoning Board of Adjustment hearing to determine the validity of two Southlake citizens' appeal on the Town & Country development has been scheduled for 6 p.m. on April 30.

The ZBA will make a decision on whether residents Doug Harsy and Sue Johnson filed their appeal correctly and within the 60-day window following the initial decision relating to the zoning.

Should the ZBA find the appeal valid, the board will then hear and rule on the residents' appeal, which states the developer's proposal is not consistent with the land's current zoning, does not conform with an earlier approved concept plan and that the city applied the wrong tree preservation ordinance.

The development, located at the southeast corner of Dove Road and SH 114, would contain a 103,000-square-foot Kroger as the anchor store.
