When the Village of Panther Creek opened in 1977 it became the second village in The Woodlands. Panther Creek has over 12,000 residents, and about 3,600 homes within its four neighborhoods.
The community is also home to McCullough Junior High School, which was The Woodlands' first high school when it opened in 1976.
