1. Boudreaux Road realignment
Harris County completed the extension and realignment of Boudreaux Road near the intersection of Hwy. 249 and the Grand Parkway in June. Working with TxDOT and the Harris County Toll Road Authority, the county extended Boudreaux Road from 2,500 feet west of Hwy. 249 to Hwy. 249 and realigned the roadway from Hwy. 249 to 3,500 feet east of Hwy. 249. Project Updates
2. Holzwarth Road extension
The widening of Holzwarth Road from FM 2920 to Spring Stuebner Road in Spring continues. The southern section—expanding the road to a four-lane boulevard from FM 2920 to just north of Emerson Ridge—has been completed. Construction continues on the northern section from north of Emerson Ridge to Spring Stuebner Road, which includes four lanes and storm sewer system.
Timeline: South section completed June 1, north section scheduled for completion Nov. 20
Cost: $3.3 million total for both sections

3. Spring Stuebner widening
The widening of Spring Stuebner Road from Kuykendahl Road to I-45 from two lanes to four lanes continues. Segments A and B, which run from Kuykendahl Road to Falvel Road, have been completed. Segment C, which connects Falvel Road to I-45, includes 14-foot medians, drainage and traffic signals.
Timeline: Segment A completed Feb. 19, Segment B completed May 16, Segment C scheduled for completion Dec. 31
Cost:$5.9 million for Segment A, $4.4 million for Segment B and $3.9 million for Segment C

4. Tomball Tollway
Construction on the Tomball Tollway is underway, including paving of the main lanes and the building of columns to support bridges across existing intersecting roads. Phase I of the project is being constructed as a six-lane—three in each direction—electronically monitored tollway in the median between existing Hwy. 249 main lanes and will run from just south of Spring Cypress Road to just north of FM 2920.
Timeline: Project is expected to be completed in spring 2015

Signalization
5. CLASS at Louetta Road and Kuykendahl Road
The Changeable Lane Assignment Signal System, or CLASS, has been installed at the intersection of Louetta Road and Kuykendahl Road. The signals allow lane assignments to change with the traffic patterns for better intersection management. Other improvements at the intersection include right turn lanes and modified left turn lanes.
Timeline: CLASS was operational June 30

6. TC Jester signal installation
Harris County continues the installation of 10 traffic lights along TC Jester Boulevard between FM 1960 and FM 2920 in Spring. The intersections include Chapel Bend Drive, Aspen Bend Drive, Kennonview Drive, Glenmere Lane, Winding Bridge Drive, Center Court Drive, Pinelakes Boulevard, Alvin A. Klein Drive, Springbrook Hollow Drive and Spring Creek Oaks Drive.
Timeline: Project is scheduled for completion May 22, 2015
Cost: $2.9 million

7. The Grand Parkway Segments F1, F2 and G
Three segments—F1, F2 and G—are under simultaneous construction on Houston's third outer loop, which runs through Spring. The segments stretch from Hwy. 290 to Hwy. 59 and feature major overpasses and interchanges at Hwy. 290, Hwy. 249 and I-45. The project's contractor, Zachry-Odebrecht Parkway Builders, has created a mobile application that provides up-to-date information. More information is available at www.grandparkway99.com.
