Chris Preston is the projected winner for Missouri City City Council At Large Position 2, according to unofficial results, Preston received 50.70 percent—or 2,680 of the votes with 24 of 24 precincts reporting.
Preston was unavailable for comment at press time.
Incumbent Danny Nguyen was unseated by a margin of 83 votes.

Unofficial early voting results show Chris Preston in the lead for the Missouri City City Council Position At Large Position 2 race by a narrow margin. Preston has received 50.92 percent—or 1,685 of the votes—with 0 of 24 precincts reporting.
Chris Preston is a Missouri City business owner. This is Preston's fist bid for public office.
At Large Position 2 incumbent Danny Nguyen works as a motivational speaker, educator and business owner in Missouri City. He has served on City Council for the past two years.
City Council members serve two-year terms with no term limits.
