Although reserved seating is sold out, general admission tickets—$125 each—are still available for the Frisco Family Services 20th Annual Gala on April 26.

The western-themed gala is 6:30–8:30 p.m. at Dr Pepper Arena, 2601 Avenue of the Stars and includes food, complimentary beverages, entertainment, live and silent auctions as well as raffle items.

"General admission includes everything at the gala, it just doesn't include a seat at a table," said Cynthia Allen, Frisco Family Services marketing coordinator.

General admission attendees still have a place to sit in the arena stands, she said.

Sponsorship opportunities are now closed, but Allen said there will be an opportunity for attendees to participate in the live and silent auctions, as well as the "fund a need" portion of the auction, where attendees can donate funds directly to specific FFS programs.

Entertainment on hand will include the Drywater Band, mechanical bull rides, armadillo races, a trick cowboy and pictures with a live steer.

The live and silent auctions include items such as theme baskets, getaways, spa treatments, trips and sports packages. The raffle item is a $10,000 Visa Gift Card or an Alaskan cruise. Raffle tickets are $50 each.

Close to 20 local restaurants will provide sample portions for a "mini taste of Frisco," Allen said.

Tickets may be purchased online at www.friscofamilyservices.org/gala or by calling 972-335-9495.

The mission of Frisco Family Services is to help Frisco and Frisco ISD community members who are facing hunger, homelessness and other needs in order to improve their quality of life and achieve self-sufficiency.
