Round Rock ISD residents will be able to attend upcoming meetings to learn about the district's proposed $299 million bond package that could aid the district's growth.

On May 10, voters will decide on the bond, which will be broken into three propositions with funding for new schools, fine arts venues, additional buses and construction at various campuses. The propositions also include projects to address district growth, safety and technology upgrades.

A Citizens Bond Committee recommended a $287 million bond package Feb. 12. After reviewing the information, the board decided to add $12 million in projects and technology upgrades to the bond package, including Phase 2 of Stony Point High School's agricultural facility. The board called the bond Feb. 25.
