A Beverly Hills-based bridal salon has made its way to Frisco.

Winnie Couture chose Frisco to launch its first Dallas location and in December opened its new salon on Gaylord Parkway.

Founded by Winnie Chlomin and husband Chris Lee, the company has been fitting brides in flattering silhouettes and ball gowns since 2000. All designed by Chlomin, the collections epitomize a "classic-feminine" style that store manager and bridal stylist Tara Layden said includes two main lines: the blush collection and the diamond collection.

Layden said the blush line gowns range from $1,500 to $3,000, and the diamond collection gowns, made with silk, cost from $3,000 to $7,000.

The Frisco store decor matches the dresses that are featured behind its windows, with multiple chandeliers hanging from the ceilings, plush seating and pink curtains draping across the dress racks. There are three fitting areas, each with a curtained fitting room, a floor-length mirror and plush seating for guests.

Layden said the store recommends brides call ahead in order to ensure a full hour and a half appointment with a personal stylist, but walk-ins will also be accommodated. The store is open every day of the week, but Layden said weekends are the busiest.

The bridal salon also offers complimentary champagne or water, and Layden said groups are welcome to accompany a client.

The Salon is located at 2995 Preston Road, Ste. 1580. 214-872-2887.
