Almighty Rentals owners Daniel and Christie Dance plan to break ground this fall on the Berry Creek Business Park, a 12-acre, 80,000-square-foot commercial and retail development located on Shell Road north of the business' current location at 2534 Shell Road.

"It's been three years in the process," Daniel Dance said. "It was always a concept. What we are envisioning is having clients or tenants that are in the service- or construction-related industries."

Dance said the project will include 7,500 square feet for the couple's event and equipment rental company.

"We outgrew this [space] four years ago," Dance said. "It's vertical; it's stacked; there is not one square inch [of space left]."

Future plans call for an additional 6,000 square feet for the event rental and management business, which he said is expected to become its own entity in the next 1 1/2 to 2 years.

Dance said he expects to complete a portion of the project, including Almighty Rental's new space, within four to six months and complete the entire project within five years.

Dance said he plans to use local suppliers and contractors, including many of his own customers, for the business park's construction.

"We want to do business with people who do business with us," he said.

The project is also expected to include about 30,000 square feet of retail space that would be located along the Shell Road frontage and space available for lease or sale.

The project was designed by BWM Group, and David Rothenberg of the Rothenberg Group will be the general contractor, Dance said.
