Construction remains on schedule for a new northbound I-35 frontage road and exit ramp realignments between Westinghouse Road and Hwy. 29.
Crews began paving the north side section of S.E. Inner Loop in July. The $18.69 million project kicked off in January, and construction began in April. The project will also realign the S.E. Inner Loop, I-35 and South Austin Avenue intersection.
Williamson County road bonds are funding the project, which is scheduled for completion in 2014.
A pass-through financing agreement based on roadway use with the Texas Department of Transportation will pay back a portion of the construction costs after the project is completed.
