Since the Blue Mug Cafe opened April 28, Manager Joshua Leone said the restaurant has established its menu, earned repeat customers and continue to develop its catering business.
"Everything's set, and we've got our menu in place finally," Leone said. "We've been doing really great."
Offering a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner options, Leone said several of the dishes have already earned reputations with the customers, including the chipotle black bean, kobe beef and turkey burgers and their Capone Grinder sandwich.
"We try to put everything out as high quality as possible," Leone said. "We have generous portions. I think we're competitively priced."
Blue Mug Cafe offers 10 beers on tap, including five from Texas breweries, Leone said. The restaurant also features 135 types of wine, 115 of which can be purchased by the glass. Leone said Blue Mug Cafe even hosts complementary wine tastings every two weeks.
Leone said the restaurant also houses an in-house pastry chef, who makes all of the restaurant's desserts.
He hopes to expand the restaurant's catering business and believes Blue Mug Cafe will add new locations in the future.
"This is just the mothership one," he said. "We're definitely looking at opening other Blue Mugs in the future for sure."
