Residents who use Hwys. 114 and 170 west of Southlake should start to see relief by sometime Saturday morning.

Two entrance ramps at should open at that time, said Michelle Releford of the Texas Department of Transportation Friday.

The two ramps are: the entrance ramp to eastbound Hwy. 114 frontage road that enters the eastbound main lanes ,and the entrance ramp from Hwy. 170 frontage road that enters the eastbound main lanes.

Releford said the ramps will be closed to traffic while striping is being done overnight Friday.

She also said that, weather permitting, the westbound Hwy. 114 to westbound Hwy. 170 flyover ramp is likely to be open in two weeks.

Opening of the westbound Hwy. 114 to westbound Business 114 frontage road ramp probably will be in a month, she said.

The goal of the 1.3-mile, $33 million project is to add capacity.
