Renderings are out for the new Whole Foods Market and redesigned Village Park shopping center in Colleyville.
Whole Foods, expected to open in 2014, is designed with a metal roof, wood bracing and a stone faade. Plans call for painting some of the existing brick.
The rest of the center, which includes Goody Goody Liquor, would have a similar look.
Whole Foods signed a lease for the property in February. Now plans for the supermarket and shopping center at 4801 Colleyville Blvd. will be submitted for city approvals.
The new store will occupy a 56,434-square-foot building that has been vacant since 2007.
Colleyville supplied a $2.25 million grant to the developer, Centennial Real Estate Co., as an economic development incentive for the projects.
