Inspired by the charming little markets of France, the Studios of Southlake is a boutique marketplace where individual vendors sell everything from trendy baby clothes to lacrosse spirit wear.

Located on the second level of the 280 Sports Complex, the Studios opened in April with 11 businesses and has grown to a co-op of 32 vendors who lease space to sell distinctive and specialty items.

Studios manager Lisa Wheelock said the youth sports complex is the perfect venue for the marketplace.

"We have a lot of moms who come in and shop while they are waiting for their children to finish their sports," she said.
