Council members are set to take up several issues June 14, including items relating to the Imagine Austin plan, J.W. Marriott rezoning, 34th Street redevelopment, Formula One racing, the Airport Boulevard project, outdoor amphitheaters and the city's draft Fiscal Year 2012-13 Action Plan.

Among the items of interest on the agenda include:

Imagine Austin

  • Item 58: Conduct a public hearing on the city's proposed 30-year comprehensive plan, possible action

J.W. Marriott

  • Item 46: Conduct public hearing relating to J.W. Marriott rezoning

34th Street

  • Items 41-44: Conduct public hearings relating to redevelopment of 34th Street

Fiscal Year 2012-13 Action Plan

  • Item 49: Conduct a public hearing to receive citizen comments on the city's draft Fiscal Year 2012-13 Action Plan

Outdoor amphitheaters

  • Item 56: Conduct a public hearing and consider an ordinance amending City Code Chapter 25-2 to make outdoor amphitheaters and similar structures a conditional use in all zoning districts, even if the amphitheater or similar structure is associated with a civic or residential use.

The Austin City Council is scheduled to meet at 10 a.m. at Austin City Hall, 301 W.
