In unofficial final voting results, Anderson Mill Limited District board of directors Place 1 incumbent John Kiracofe won with 69 percent of the vote. Place 2 incumbent Cindy Ottenbacher finished with 73 percent of the vote.

Three of five places on the Anderson Mill Limited District board of directors, the district's governing body, were up for election May 12.

The board of directors oversees the district's budget, which goes toward maintaining and operating public facilities, such as parks and pools. It is also responsible for enforcing deed restrictions, or making sure that the intended atmosphere of the neighborhood is maintained, as well as contracting for trash collection services.

Elizabeth Ellison is challenging Kiracofe, who, according to a biography posted on the Anderson Mill Limited District website, has served as a district board member for 13 years and as chief of the Jollyville Volunteer Fire Department since 1981.

Ottenbacher is running against Hunter S. Nelson. Ottenbacher, a resident of Anderson Mill for 28 years, has served on the board since 1996.

Fred Morgan, who has served on the board since 2006, was the only candidate running for Place 3.
